ABOUT MSS

MSS is a Day and Employment Services provider supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Each year, MSS empowers more than 500 individuals to live the life they choose by providing person-centered support and meaningful opportunities for collaboration and community engagement.

Founded in 1949, MSS was one of the first licensed Day Services providers for adults with disabilities in Minnesota. Today, we operate seven locations throughout the Twin Cities. We also offer a fine arts studio program, Fresh Eye Arts, which supports people with disabilities in exploring art for employment and enjoyment. In 2021, we opened our community art space in South Minneapolis, Fresh Eye Gallery.

For over 75 years, MSS has empowered people with disabilities to live their best lives—in the community, in the workplace, in the creative arts, and beyond.
