  • Will MSS consider me for a job if I don’t have any experience in the field?

Yes! MSS provides all the training you need to work here. We are looking for people who can bring their whole self to work. You will have the chance to share your unique skills, interests, and life experiences.

How many hours per week do I need to work to be eligible for benefits?

Employees who work 30 or more hours per week are considered full time. Anyone who works at least 20 hours per week is eligible for benefits such as health and dental insurance at a prorated cost. All employees earn paid time off based on the number of hours they work per week.

Can I work a flexible schedule?

MSS has core hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. If you can work a set schedule during those hours, we can work with you! A set schedule might look like 1 or 2 days per week, or could be a certain number of hours per day.

Are there remote and in-person opportunities?

Most of the work we do is in-person, either at one of our centers or in our local communities. We also have some opportunities to provide remote programming. Please reach out to the Human Resources Departmentfor more information.

Do I need a driver’s license or clean driving record?

While we prefer candidates who can drive, we do offer some positions that do not require it. Many of our staff provide transportation for people we support to and from our locations or other areas in our local communities. Please reach out to learn more!
